Less than a month ’til take-off!

Greetings, one and all! Thanks for joining me! Seriously, thank you; I can’t even imagine anyone reading this now – someone taking the time to check-up on my going-ons? Aw, that’s love (time is love!), and I’m incredibly grateful for that.

For the last two months, I’ve been working at Poole Family Farms in Hood River: an expanding grower and seller of cherries, pears, peaches and more, where my primary focus was on the cherries. Click here if you want to read more about that growing experience, and click here if you want to see the farm’s website. The original plan was to work solidly through the summer and to rake in that sweet cherry-money. However, due to the intense heat, the fruit ripened quickly, was pick, sorted, and sold in a flash, effectively booting me back to the Willamette Valley a whole month earlier than expected. My parents have welcomed me back home with open, joyful arms.

I’ll edit this more later, but dang, I need prayer.. so much. It feels like I’ve gone through a whole other year of Cornerstone School of Ministry; exciting beginnings, crippling and humbling spiritual attack, growth, and now I’m in the “Summer/end of school year phase”, where I’m not constantly surrounded by believer-friend-encouragement, and old temptations and garbage can all-too-easily seep back into my life… I DIDN’T EVEN LAST A WEEKEND!

But! God is faithful, even when I’m not, and He loves me, even when I hurt Him and make mistakes, and He loves me enough to accept me as I am, and to not leave me where I am (thank you Pastor Mike for that awesome message on The Greatest Showman! <3). In between the last paragraph and this paragraph, things changed for the better. Dunno if this will all make the final-cut, but OH WELL. If you came here for a fanschy-perfect straightforward stellar-grammar n punctuation-whatever, you came to the wrong place, ’cause that not how I roll~ I roll the Jesus way, and the rest is aesthetics.

I’ll add more stuff laterr

And we know we can’t go back again
To the world that we were living in
‘Cause we’re dreaming with our eyes wide open.
